Homework for 5/7

Social Studies

Students need to check PowerSchool to see if they are missing any assignments.

Also, students need to make sure they have completed the graphic organizer on the early events in the Civil War (see Thursday's blog.)

Math:  
Periods 1/2:  finish Quarter 3, 4 and first page of final exam review.  Final exam is Thursday
Period 5:  p. 102  rows d,e,f
Period 6/7: slope/graphing worksheet

Science: None.

English:  Speeches begin Monday.

Social Studies

1- Submit Wednesday's edmodo assignment (Letter to Lincoln or Davis) THROUGH EDMODO ONLY by class tomorrow.  

2- Finish the graphic organizer on all seven events from early in the Civil War.

Math:

Science: None.

English:  Tomorrow we are practicing the delivery of our speeches.  Remember that their are three times you have to practice in front of adults.  Practicing is your homework.

Social Studies

Submit the "Advantages of the North and South" document through EDMODO only.  If you share this document with me through google docs I will not grade it.  The written assignment should be around a half page, single-spaced using 12-pt font.

Math:  periods 1/2: p. 679  #2-28evenperiod 5; worksheet 101period 6/7: graph 5 linear equations

Science: None.


English:  Print two copies of your final draft, one for you to practice with, one for me.  Include a works cited page, and all printed sources that you used in your essay.
