Science: Study for your science test. Use your study guide to prepare and also use the pre-quiz from today's class and on Edmodo you can review the PowerPoint.

Social Studies: Finish the final draft of your DAR essay it is due tomorrow, no exceptions.

English:  You have to have your written raps ready to submit for tomorrow and make sure that you have at least ten poetic devices or terms written down that highlights specifically where in your raps you have used these poetic devices.

Math Periods 1 & 7:  Graphing puzzle.

Math Periods 2 & 5: Worksheet 6-5 #'s 31-36.

Science: 
1) complete the Birthday Forecast worksheet doing the following steps....
     a) Use your birthday forecast description (found at http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/summit.php)

      b) highlight the important clues and terms within your forecast

      c) select 3 sentences that you can interpret.

      d) fill out the graphic organizer that includes rewriting the sentence and saying why the sentence make sense. A good way to start this section is to write "This statement makes sense because..." (example: This statement makes sense because it says there will be strong winds as the front pass through and that is where wind happens, along front boundaries)

2) Study guide due Wednesday

3) Weather Unit test Thursday and Friday

Social Studies:  
None. 


English: Printed versions of your entire Rap Battle, (both parts) are due Thursday.  Note that your couplets today are just rough draft pieces...they are not your rap battle...but they can be used towards your rap battle.  Please review the handout.

Social Studies: Any student who did not submit their Pre-Revolution paper must do so ASAP.  See directions on the blog to help you.
Any student who missed class must use the pictures on the blog to complete the graphic organizer.  Find as much information for each box that you can.

English:   Check blog and come in tomorrow with your own haiku. Vocabulary quiz next Monday. Quizlet, accessed through Mr. Stowell's blog is updated and ready to be used as a study tool.

Science:  Complete “Heating Sand and Water Lab”.
Be sure you complete the following steps for your lab.
·            Fill in hypothesis
·            Cut out materials that are not used (2 of them)
·            Cut out blank data table that is on the template.
·            Insert the cells from the spread sheet you created
·            Insert the graph from the spread sheet
·            Insert the formatted picture with labels form Google drawing
·            Respond to 4 analysis questions in paragraph form
·            Respond to JUST the first conclusion question in paragraph format. Be sure to compare the lab heating rates to how a sea breeze forms.
·            Cut the extra conclusion questions out
·            Share the document with me as “Can Comment” to bclapp@sau16.org.
